Jersey, which is also called The Bailiwick of Jersey, is a British Crown Dependency which is located near the coast of Normandy in France. Jersey is near two other islands, which aren't inhabited - the Minquiers and Ecrehous islands, as well as the Pierres de Lecq, and various other reefs.

You can also watch the local cricket games - Jersey serves as a member of the International Cricket Council. or the ICC for short, and offers many inter-insular matches by teams who compete at a class of World Division 4. There are also junior cricket teams which play in the area in European Division 1.

Jersey also offers various other types of exercise, which include swimming in two public indoor swimming pools, or you can opt for swimming at sea in the open, and you'll be able to enjoy the local scenery, and you can also partake in many other forms of water sports - which include surfing, windsurfing, and many other types of sports.

There are also annual swimming and other water sporting events, which are held in Jersey by the various clubs in the area.

Jersey is divided into various parishes, which include Saint Saviour, Trinity, Saint Clement, Grouville and many more, and each parish has other points of attraction - but some aren't near the sea, but the distance isn't too far, so you need to plan your vacation and your sleeping arrangements accordingly.
