Other accommodation near Leamington Spa

Leamington Spa is a spa town located in Warwickshire England. This town, which didn't really start to develop as it is today until the early nineteenth century, was cataloged in the famous Doomsday Book of 1086. Its beauty and attractions make it a popular destination for tourists.

One such stop is Jephson Gardens. This garden is a beautiful retreat with its flower beds and large pond for water fowl. There are many grassy areas to picnic and settle on during nice weather. On the far end of the park there is a boating lake and a restaurant for visitors to enjoy.

Visitors can also tour the Royal Pump Rooms. Here you can see the Museum and an interactive gallery and education room the kids. The Royal Pump Rooms also includes an Art Gallery with works by nineteenth and twentieth century artist on display. There is also a Tourist Information Center that allows you to plan your next adventure while in Leamington Spa. Before leaving the Royal Pump Rooms be sure to grab a bite to eat in the cafe located inside.

During your stay in Leamington Spa you can rent a boat and go on a nice relaxing boat trip down the river. The Leam Boat Center located in Mill Garden has everything you need to enjoy the River Leam. They even have children's bumper boats for the kiddies to enjoy.

Because of the beautiful setting with its many parks, walking around Leamington Spa makes for an enjoyable afternoon, if the weather is right. They even have walking tours during the evenings. You start from Jephson Gardens and tour with a group. There is a board at the entrance to the Jephson Gardens for more details on when the tour begins and what days of the year it is conducted.

Not everything has to be sightseeing, however. For those that love a good party there is plenty of nightlife to have. For the Bargain partier you might want to check out the storm Lounge in nearby Rugby. This lounge features interested decor and is said to have no cover during the months of July and August. Once inside you can get drinks for two pounds apiece.

For those that would prefer to stay in Leamington Spa proper there are still several pubs and clubs to choose from. The one that is considered the best, though, is Sugar. Sugar is among the newer bars in the area and brings in what is considered to be among the top DJs in the business. There is plenty of room to move and dance. This club is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the serious nightlifers.

Beauty, history, and fun that's what make Leamington Spa Popular.
